A Valentine Theme:

My seventh week is a Valentine Theme.  I used washi tape for the borders.  I trimmed Valentine’s Day with washi tape.  I used the checklist stamp for my to dos for each day on pink, purple and red paper.  I heart stickers throughout.

I punched holes in a few note pages from a Valentine theme notepads and added them in my planner during that week for extra to dos or notes.  I used heart shape sticky notes and sticky notes with hearts on it for quick notes.

A Vintage Theme:

My sixth week is a Vintage Theme.  I used scrapbook paper for the borders and the days of the week.  I use acrylic stamps for my days of the week.  I used the sticky notes and notes and the checklist stamp for my to dos for each day on the bottom of the page.  I used the sticky tabs to add vintage pictures through out.

I punched holes in a few note pages from a couple Vintage theme notepads and added them in my planner during that week for extra phone messages, plans, to dos or notes.  The notepads and sticky notes were purchased Amazon.

A New York Theme:

My fifth week is a New York Theme.  I used scrapbook paper for the borders and the days of the week.  I printed my days of the week on my label machine.  I used the sticky notes and tabs and the checklist stamp for my to dos for each day.  The NY on the top left corner and the apple on the bottom right above to dos is from the sticky tabs.

I punched holes in a few note pages from a New York theme notepad and added them in my planner during that week for extra to do or notes.  I also added magnetic bookmarks from the New York theme that match the colors.  The Louis Vuitton page marker came with the planner pages.

I have several magnetic bookmarks to choose from the New York theme that go with my colors.   All bookmarks were ordered from Amazon in a package.

A London Theme:

A Paris Theme:

I decided to go with a Paris theme with My Week 3.  I used scrapbook paper for my borders and my days of the week.  I printed my days of the week on my label machine.  I used one of the notepad paper and checklist stamp on the bottom of the page for daily to dos.  I used Paris Labels for the background and Lable Machine for a few of my appointments.

I punched holes in a few note pages from a Paris theme notepad and added them in my planner during that week for extra to do or notes.  I also added Paris magnetic bookmarks.

I used washi tape that I purchased a Target for the borders and behind the days of the week.  I printed the days of the week and the activities for the week on my labeler.  I used and trimmed my page markers as background behind my activities.  I used a checklist stamp to add to do at the bottom of the page for each day.  I feel the mistake I made was not knowing that the ink I used would bleed on the page and through the page.  I try to use a white out to fix the problem although I didn’t like how it look either way.  I will try different ink in the future or I will put it on a different piece of paper, cut and glue on my planner page.  I like the checklist at the end of each day and has been very useful.  I would write my activities that I had to do in black pen, check it off when it was completed.

My weekly planner actually started with Week 52, 2013, December 23-29, 2013.  I decorated it in festive holiday colors.  The washi tape and stickers were purchased at Target.

I have enjoyed browsing blogs of others who decorate their planners.  For several years I’ve decorated my monthly pages.  I was inspired by the blogs I’ve seen that I decided that I would start decorate my weekly pages starting with the 1st week of 2014.  I decided to decorate my first week in gold washi tape and gold lettering that I purchased at Target.  I used my labeler for the days and the year.  I choose gold to symbolize a successful new year.

I use a gold Louis Vuitton Page Marker for the current week and one for my daily planner pages.  I have four magnetic bookmarks with Paris Landmarks: I use one on the current month, current week, current day and the last one for information that I need to reference. I use another book marker on the right page of my weekly planner pages that I found at Hobby Lobby years ago.  It sticks up above the pages like a tab so it’s easy to find my current weekly pages.

I printed some of my activities on my labeler and put a back ground that matched the gold behind it.  I will most likely write upcoming activities with black pen.  I haven’t started a color coding system yet.

I found cute pink and gold notepads and gold sticky page markers from Target for $1.00 each.  The gold pen I purchased from Amazon for $15.00, Pilot Metropolitan Fine Writing Gel Pen, Gold Barrel, Classic Design, Black Ink. The Pilot Metropolitan is also available as a Fountain Pen.
