Today was a dreary , wet and cold day. We had already decided to take a trip to see my sister because her dog, Yaskito, long time companion & friend died on New Year’s Eve. She was very upset and sad about it and needed encouragement. I understand the loss, I felt the same way when I lost my dog, Sparky.
Yaskito, my sister’s companion and friend for many years. He will be missed.
We spent the afternoon with her and ate out for late lunch. Early evening we went to see my son and his wife on the way home. Even though it was a dreary day we had a pleasant road trip. I’m glad we got to spend time with my sister during this sad time.
