I have enjoyed browsing blogs of others who decorate their planners. For several years I’ve decorated my monthly pages. I was inspired by the blogs I’ve seen that I decided that I would start decorate my weekly pages starting with the 1st week of 2014. I decided to decorate my first week in gold washi tape and gold lettering that I purchased at Target. I used my labeler for the days and the year. I choose gold to symbolize a successful new year.
I use a gold Louis Vuitton Page Marker for the current week and one for my daily planner pages. I have four magnetic bookmarks with Paris Landmarks: I use one on the current month, current week, current day and the last one for information that I need to reference. I use another book marker on the right page of my weekly planner pages that I found at Hobby Lobby years ago. It sticks up above the pages like a tab so it’s easy to find my current weekly pages.
I printed some of my activities on my labeler and put a back ground that matched the gold behind it. I will most likely write upcoming activities with black pen. I haven’t started a color coding system yet.
I found cute pink and gold notepads and gold sticky page markers from Target for $1.00 each. The gold pen I purchased from Amazon for $15.00, Pilot Metropolitan Fine Writing Gel Pen, Gold Barrel, Classic Design, Black Ink. The Pilot Metropolitan is also available as a Fountain Pen.
